This policy explains what data AcneTracker processes, why, and what rights you have. It covers both the public content pages and the Acne Tracker tool.

Reading the site

The content pages can be read without an account. We collect standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and aggregate statistics.

We use cookies and similar technologies for anonymous traffic measurement and — where ads are shown — for advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and/or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Where required, we ask for your consent before setting advertising cookies.

The Acne Tracker tool

If you create a tracker account, we store your email address and the log data you enter (skin status, lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress and diet). This is sensitive personal data; it is used solely to show you your own history and correlations, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

You can delete your account and all associated log data at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export and delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact [email protected] with the subject 'Privacy'. If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may complain to your national data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
